  • WaxVac

    Commercials

WaxVac introduced a unique solution to an age old problem – how do you clean your ears without Q-Tips (which everyone knows you shouldn’t do)? Developed and produced with Lenfest Media/Hampton Direct, WaxVac was a big hit in 2013 with over 10 million sold.

  • PedEgg

    Informercials

After the PedEgg's resounding success as the best selling pedicure product in the US, Telebrands launched the PedEgg internationally. This 30-minute infomercial aired in over 100 countries and succeeded in making the PedEgg the world's best selling pedicure product.

  • PedEgg

    Commercials

Once again PBandJ Partners and Telebrands team up for success. Better than anything else on the market, the PedEgg removes dead skin and calluses from your feet without making a mess. With over 40 million sold, the PedEgg has become the most successful DR product ever sold. PBandJ Partners has worked with Telebrands on many successful products in the past, including Dental White, featuring Morgan Fairchild, and Blu Blockers with Joe Namath.

  • BarNone

    Commercials

He's back. That's right. The former Pets.com Sock Puppet found a new home with BarNone. Resurrected by PBandJ Partners and hired by BarNone as their new spokes-puppet, the BarNone Sock Puppet is now appearing in several commercials created and produced by PBandJ Partners. Not only did these spots get the phones ringing, they also built tremendous awareness. Call to see what PBandJ Partners can do for you!

  • Petsurance

    Informercials

Nam et mauris non lectus ullamcorper pellentesque. Integer rhoncus ullamcorper purus.

  • Sure Clip

    Commercials

In their first project together, PBandJ Partners and Ontel Products achieved success introducing the Sure Clip. In a difficult market, where very few, if any, new products worked, the Sure Clip was one of the best selling products of the year. If you have a product, we can help generate sales and build your brand.

  • Hilton Oil

    Informercials

What better way to sell an automotive additive than by creating a show about your product? Entertaining and informative, this infomercial built awareness and sales.

  • Merck

    Film & Video

This entertaining promotional video helped Merck get its sales force excited about the use of its popular product Maxalt.

  • SKLZ Hurricane

    Commercials

PBandJ Partners and Derek Jeter teamed up with Pro Performance Sports to introduce the ultimate baseball batting trainer. The Hurricane is an important improvement in traditional two man batting trainers. In addition to generating impressive direct response results, the spot performed really well driving retail sales.

  • TimeLife Video

    Informercials

Who better to host a golf infomercial than Jack Whittaker? Add him to a golf program developed by and featuring Jack Nicklaus, and you can’t go wrong. That’s “Golf My Way,” and this infomercial did it all for TimeLife Video.

  • Internet A to Z

    Film & Video

PBandJ developed and produced a valuable product line and a complete marketing campaign for Internet A to Z. This instructional video worked in the infancy of the Internet, surprisingly just a few years ago, to help many consumers get online.

  • Tomato Factory

    Commercials

The Tomato Factory is a PBandJ Partners' concept and production developed in association with Lipenwald, Inc. and successfully tested in 2010. With The Tomato Factory, PBandJ Partners made its entry into the product development arena.

  • Nest Entertainment

    Informercials

This infomercial weaves excerpts from a popular animated bible series into an interesting and entertaining show hosted by Grant Goodeve. No wonder sales exceeded expectations.

  • Twist n’ Go Styling Magic

    Film & Video

This video is an example of how to package your product to increase perceived value and help drive sales.

  • Sparkletts

    Commercials

Like to see your cost of new customer acquisition cut in half? It seems impossible, but that's what "Mission" achieved. By using a tightly focused piece of creative to support the brand, PBandJ Partners achieved the impossible.

  • TimeLife Video

    Informercials

One of TimeLife’s early forays into infomercials, this show took a unique approach to selling video series from the TimeLife library. Today we are used to purchasing these boxed sets for everything from films to TV shows due in part to this groundbreaking show.

  • The Qin

    Film & Video

Requested by the China Institute to document a 'once in a lifetime' exhibition, PBandJ Partners shifted focus from marketing to art and produced this memorable video. Not surprisingly, once the video was completed, PBandJ worked with the museum to help them build a plan to generate revenue through sales of videos of this and other shows.

  • NEWSical

    Film & Video

When this unique show’s producers came to PBandJ, they needed help. Attendance was dropping, so PBandJ created and produced a video, posters, direct mail pieces and print ads. We even added a little show business to their web site with a flash element. It’s amazing what good marketing can do. The campaign breathed life into the show, extending its New York run and making a Denver opening possible.

    Q & A

    pbandj

What does it take to have a successful DR campaign?

The right product, offer and partners! PBandJ Partners has extensive experience and the right team for every job. We will share our experience and draw from our extensive resources to assemble the right team every time.

    What’s different about PBandJ Partners?

Our clients know what they want to accomplish. We provide the expertise, experience and creativity necessary to make it happen. We have specialized in the DRTV business for over 40 years, as long as Telebrands. We created and produced the spots and infomercial for the PedEgg with them and over 40 million units have been sold to date. We are also our own production company. Everything we create we produce, which guarantees superior production values, quick production turnaround and real accountability.

    What are PBandJ Partners’ strengths?

Our greatest strength is producing DRTV creative and production for broadcast media. We begin with the direct response model because it offers both immediate results and accountability. Combine that with creative that builds brands and gets results and you’ve got a winning combination. With over 40 years experience we have the depth of experience in all aspects and product categories of advertising, marketing and production to make any project a success.

What fields do you have experience in?

We’ve done work for financial companies, publishing concerns, automotive chains, entertainment services and Internet service providers… among others. We’re also old hands at traditional, sales-oriented direct response work, and have done extensive work with Telebrands and Home Shopping Network. You name it, we’ve done it. See our client list.

    What do you specialize in?

We are often asked this question and the honest answer is DRTV. The challenge is always to get the phone to ring cost effectively. Our biggest success to date is the PedEgg – a personal care product. We have won numerous awards. However, we measure success the same way our clients do – ROI.

    Do you produce infomercials?

Yes. We consider them for specific clients and appropriate products. Infomercials take more time and money to do right. If you have the right product and are willing to make the commitment infomercials require, we can create and produce one that will get the phones ringing. Please contact us.

How much does a television commercial cost?

Fees and production costs vary widely depending on creative. Clients just getting started should be prepared to spend $25,000 to $75,000 depending on the back-end offered producers. Brand response clients should expect to spend more for higher production values. We offer pricing specific to our clients’ needs. For more information please contact Peter B. Aronow directly by sending an e-mail to peter@pbandjpartners.com

Do you ever work in conjunction with other agencies?

We do. On a number of occasions we’ve been called in by agencies without a particular strength in direct response or television production. We’re happy to work behind the scenes, and we understand the value of discretion.

Have you worked with any celebrities?

Yes. They include Derek Jeter , Paul Newman, Mary Tyler Moore, Joe Namath, Jack Nicklaus, Jim Palmer, Darryl Strawberry, Hank Aaron, Carol Alt, Blythe Danner, Isabella Rossellini and Hall & Oates, to name a few.

    Where are you located?

Our offices are in East Hampton, New York. We also have production and postproduction facilities there. However, we produce wherever the project requires and we have worked all around the world.
